Tour de Chi is an annual epic bike ride in Chicago, Illinois, designed to take participants through all 77 of the city's official community areas (often referred to as neighborhoods).
It's a supported cycling challenge emphasizing adventure and camaraderie, with two main rest stations and additional stops along the way.
Distance and Route: Approximately 150 miles, starting and ending at DuSable Harbor on the Lakefront Trail (crossing North Avenue heading south). The path is meticulously planned to cover every community area while prioritizing bike-friendly paths, roadways, unique neighborhoods and Chicago hidden gems.

Average Speed, Time, Expectations: 6:30am start time and no time limit to finish. The main group typically stays together and finishes around 9:00pm with faster pace groups finishing earlier. Average speeds between 13-18mph while moments of faster pace and many starts and stops. Public firework show at Navy Pier at 10:00pm nearby the finish.
